INCIDENT REPORT

At exactly 11:47 PM, an unidentified signal interrupted normal programming on multiple receivers within the same monitoring area. No station identification was transmitted. No emergency authority claimed responsibility.

The interruption lasted forty-seven seconds.

The first eight seconds consisted of a steady carrier tone. What followed was heavily degraded speech buried beneath static and low-frequency interference.

FIELD NOTES

A search of known broadcast sources produced no confirmed match. Initial triangulation returned three possible transmission sites. Two had reportedly been abandoned for decades. The third did not appear on available municipal records.
